Jeep Wars!

 Commercial Replacements?

Today the field for the Jeep concept would seem to be limited to Range Rover, Mercedes, the Nomad and a few others in the U.S.A?

But this is not true, there are dozens of better vehicles on the market from Spain, Israel, France and Russia, that are never mentioned on British television out of bias for friends!

The world of the utility vehicle for the armed forces, civil agencies Search & Rescue, Fire services, Ambulances, RNLI, Animal Rescue and Postal Deliveries, and a host of commercial purposes from fun to business is being fulfilled by nearly ever nation that has an automotive industry, some are adaptions of the original Willy's Jeep and others of the Land rover Defender and Shorts armored?

Israel and Spain have really gone to town in their conversions with base frame vehicles to giver the driver a full experience of being close to the ground!

Many other designs deal with more of a practical use and yet there is also a fun element to enjoy driving?

The Russian Federation and Syria.

Russia pulls out of Syria!

The five year war in Syria is coming to an end and Russia has achieved the elimination of the Islamic Khalifate's infrastructure. The last few months has revealed why we have Boeing EC-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft flying over SW-Great Britain.

Russia deployed its whole Sukhoi family from the Su-25 Frogfoot to the latest stealth fighter the Su-34. In between were deployed the SU-32 and the Naval Su-27 Flanker, perhaps because this type never has been used in battle before?

The powerful Nuclear bomber the Tupolev TU-126 Blackjack was also deployed with devastating consequences on ground elimination of targets, this same aircraft is the main delivery system for Russia's Nuclear cruise missile.

The west still faces many threats from hostile nations and groups and one has to remember that the terrorists who carried out 9/11 in the United States in 2001 said, 'That they would be back to do the same in twenty years time?

Airbus. Part-One.

From A319 to A380/350.

The story of Airbus is the story about European Union co-operation in building a new family line of commercial aircraft, to compete with the U.S. manufacturer Boeing and this has now been achieved.

The Airbus story began with the A300/310 and from one design all the other aircraft have followed in their varying sizes and options. Initially a civil programme, it has now ventured into military conversions and the design of the A400M, to replace the Lockheed Hercules C-130.

Almost all European partners use one or several of the types that are available with the A320/321 being the most common in medium haul. The A330/340 has seen widespread use world wide and there are many versions available 100-600.

The smaller versions are now being converted to neo, which is that they are driven by bio fuel rather than pure aviation oil. The development of the Super Jumbo A380 has taken the market off the long standing Boeing 747-100/SP-300/400 and 8-market world wide.

Embraer.

A success Story.

Today we associate Embraer with their quality ERJ family of commercial aircraft, which are employed across the globe and many airlines. There are also various private versions of these jets, which have become a stop gap in larger fleets.

This is all down to good Brazillian business marketing sense, allowing Embraer to take away business from the big boys Airbus, Boeing and the Russians. this was first achieved with the introduction of a small business jet. Now the Brazillians could show off at Internatioal airshows in Europe.

On the other hand Embraer started with propeller driven aircraft and made a major breakthrough with its EMB series, the EBM-111 Survielance/Maritime Reconnassaince and the EMB-312 Tucano counter-insurgency/Trainer.

Israel and Britain being respective buyers of the types, probably boosted ideas, design and so it goes on. Brazil has had an aviation industry since the 1920's and was enabled to maintain various types that were purchased since, so they had gained much experience.
