The Musk Dispenser?

 Starship Window!

One recently heard and interesting interview given by the billionaire Elon Musk into why he is keen to develop his Spaceship that will allow humans access to planets, The Moon and other bodies in the Solar System and return to Earth to be reused!

He said that this time was our opportunity, in case in the nest hundred years we are knocked back by a natural disaster, nuclear war or a virus of some type. This might lead to us not being able to gain the ground that we now have?

But meanwhile with all this private venturing other contracts are underway for a new Space Shuttle, that can be updated using nano technologies and it may be in a year or two before is is un vailed to the world?

By then Musk will have an fully operational star ship system to get to the Moon and Mars, since he believes that NASA is too slow with everything it has been doing?

ENGINES?

Powering Aviation!

Most of the worlds aircraft flying since 1960 have been powered by only a few types, or copies of engine plants! In the west Pratt & Witney, Rolls-Royce. General-Electric and Lycoming are the most numerous for both civil and military.

Russia and China have only a few too, until recent new developments, while France and a few nations did their own thing. Today with more aircraft than ever the western engine giants are still holding their ground with the Russian and European competition?

Much more choices are available today that ever before when it comes to aircraft and capabilities, fuel efficiency with the electric engine now coming online! But these new developments, despite being available still have to go through much testing before we will see them in everyday use?

Missile Testing?

Not illegal under the UN Convention!

Iran, N-Korea and many more are free to test weapons and missile systems within their own ranges under International law, something the Media this year has failed to report? This week for the first time Iran fired its missiles at ISIL/S targets in Syria as a payback for the deadly terrorists attacks last week in Tehran.

N-Korea has fired hundreds of test rockets landing in the Sea of Japan, but well within its sea borders about 170 miles or 250Km from its shore line and well away from Japan? N.A.T.O. and other world power's make tests across the world in many far-flung places from the Marshall islands in the Pacific to the plains of Northern-Canada, Western-Australia, the Kerguelen  archipelago. (A challenge to find where that is on the world map?).

The great fear is the development of a nuclear bomb outside the five main powers? Israeli intelligence believe that there are up to thirty five countries with the capability to develop a low grade warhead and this includes at least twelve International terrorist groups?

Their problem is the unstable equipment and cost, if something where to go wrong? The UN meanwhile has failed with the world media to report the construction and use of smaller short range rockets being used by Terrorist groups in the Middle-East paid for by all the European Aid monies?

Rockets. Part-One.

1938 to the Present.

The German V2 rocket was the first intercontinental ballistic missile targeted from Southern-Denmark to London. In 1957 Soviet Russia changed the world with Sputnik, the first signal received from Space. The 1960's marked out the Space race from Gagarin to the Space shuttle and the establishment of the International space station (ISS).

Today we have the Internet and space communications, satellite TV, GPS and many other things, due to the development of the rocket. On the other side we have nuclear weapons from Trident here in the U.K. to many other sophisticated U.S and Russian counterparts. Missile warfare is now standard, ad seen in the Middle-East with captured Surface to air SCUD systems and we hear of Iran testing a newer system nearly every month.
